Easy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients

  • 150g sweetened condensed milk

  • 150g dark or milk chocolate (chopped or chips)

  • 30g butter

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Optional Add-ins:

  • Mini marshmallows

  • Chopped nuts or seeds

  • Crushed biscuits

  • Sprinkles

Tip - double the condensed milk, butter and chocolate for double the quantity.

Directions

  1. Line a 20 cm square tin or small loaf tin with baking paper.

  2. In a heatproof bowl, combine:

    • Chopped chocolate

    • Butter

    • Sweetened condensed milk

  3. Gently melt everything together over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler method), stirring until smooth.

  4. Alternatively: Microwave in short 20–30 second bursts, stirring between each one until melted and glossy.

  5. Stir in vanilla.

  6. Pour into the lined tin and smooth the top.

  7. Add toppings (sprinkles, marshmallows, etc.) while still warm.

  8. Chill in the fridge for approx. 3 hours (over night is best) until firm.

  9. Slice into squares and store in the fridge.
